As a junior flex developer we expect candidates with little to no commercial experience. We tend to find the junior flex developer will have come from two distinct backgrounds. Either from a Java or .NET background with an understanding of OOP they will have been a part of small part of a larger enterprise application and will have had their first taste of flex builder 3 /4 or have been a flash developer and be keen to progress into OOP and utilise the Flex SDK to make more intensive applications.

Mid-Weight Flex Developer

A mid-weight flex developer will have good commercial experience however at this level they will not be experienced in the architecture but are likely to have mentored more junior team members.

Senior Flex Developer

A senior flex developer or flex team leader will have a great deal lot of experience and is familiar with current, best practices. As a lead flex developer they will have an extensive list of various complex projects under their belt. They will most likely have been involved in the full lifecycle project lifecycle.

Architect

For large scale enterprise applications many clients require a flex architect who will make or break a project. With their experience they will design the entire application from the ground up will know their back-end technologies.
